Honestly applies to both in this situation.
There is legitimate cause to argue for a corrik modkill over it.
Only argument against is zam was scum and there isn't a way to punish him further for using an alt like that.

Zam I want to be clear about something.
I do not want you to feel bad as a person, nor do i want you to be upset and stop playing mafia forever.
.
What I want is for you to play in a way that is not completely contradictory to all known forms of logic and reason and normal communication. Mafia is at it's heart a game of communication and deception. You can't just do things that don't make sense and say "well that's just how I do it so tough". Yes, there are different ways to play, but there are still inherently wrong things to do, and if you do a lot of those things then people are going to focus on that. Every single game i've played with you has involved you doing something that I simply can't reconcile a member of town having done. This game makes 4/4. So it can't just be handwaived with a "well that's how I do it", because there *are* some empirical rights and wrongs.
It's like if you were doing a math test and you tried to say that you simply did math different than other people. And then you get upset when you are marked wrong because you decided you'd rather use a plus sign for multiplication instead of addition. Like yes you might be right according to the rules you've established for yourself, but in context to the rules that the rest of the world uses it doesn't work.
And so it isn't a matter of wanting you gone, we just want you to be playing the same game that everyone else is playing instead of your own incompatible version of it.

Also I felt the "I'm quitting mafia after this game" as a result to the building pressure was already approaching modkill worthy territory. It's awfully close to making threats regarding things outside of the scope of the game.

Looking through zam posts this feels like it has the potential to be significant. We already know Zam is particularly feckless as scum based on his reluctance to have even 3 votes on Corrik. Is scum zam showing initiative here trying to 'build a case' against town dumey? Or is this similar to his early corrik vote last game that was scum on scum?
And on the face of it I can't even understand what Zam is trying to accuse dumey of. "Counting votes"? He is saying that a lot of people haven't put a vote anywhere yet, and that is being interpretted as what? Dumey trying to figure out how many votes are needed for scum to hammer? Did Zam think today was MyLo? But regardless of whatever illogic zam was employing, do we think Zam goes this "hard" against town? I have my doubts.
~~~~~~
Apologies Dumey, but this was a post from Zam I didn't feel I could ignore, especially as hard as I went on Zam for his corrik vote in the previous game. I don't think you are in any particular danger for tomorrow as a result of this, but I think it would have been incredibly inconsistent of me to have not said anything about it.
I don't plan to be applying pressure to my scummates very much, just wanted to explain why I don't feel like I could have avoided this one.
No, it's not an issue. I really don't think any pressure can be honestly applied from Zam's vote.
Corrik, Topic 2, Post 460, "The thing I just do not get is that if he is actually Scum Vanilla how he somehow thought claiming that with 20 unclaimeds was a smart idea. Especially, when it is a basically guaranteed role to be in the game if a Ninja exists."
Saving this for after Zam flips Vanilla.
Corrik has already noticed Zam’s first vote was on Dumey, and he suspects Zam votes for his scummate first.
Scare and others think Han and Zach are both Town because Zam screwed up their names, and in last game he screwed up two Townies the same way. Han and Zach could have been pretty nice mislynches otherwise.
Lol, that avalanche effect.
This 5 extra hours of Town discussion with confirmed Scum really hurts.
Sorry but there was just no way I was going to punish town for what Zam did.
It was a fair ruling. Though if you don't include an "autocorrect" meme in the flavor, I'll be disappointed in you, Chris.
